Group coaching

What is group career coaching?

When people hear the word career, they quickly think jobs. Careers are about so much more than the job you do.

As a coach, we will spend time exploring what brings you joy, the amazing things that make you uniquely you. What have you been created for? Let’s get to the heart of who you are, and figure out how to make that your career.

Whether you are feeling stuck; wanting to move towards the life and career you want but not sure where to start; hoping to further develop the career you are already in; or needing to regain the balance and joy you have been missing, we will partner together in a thought-provoking and creative process, inspiring you to maximize your personal and professional potential. Along the way we will discover who you really are.

What to expect

Pre-Program Conversations: Individual Introductory Session (1 Hour)

Starting something new takes courage. In this introductory session I will do my best to answer any questions you might have about the coaching process, and might even ask a few of my own, making sure that you specifically will be ready to get what you need to from our time together.

Group Coaching: 8 sessions, 2 hours each

Group career coaching sessions are a great way to share the experience of coaching with peers. With a small group, we will determine a schedule that works for you. Together you will further explore and discover your strengths, the things that matter to you most, why you have the interests you do, the barriers that are standing in your way and so much more. You may even have a group of friends, peers or colleagues you would like to organize a career coaching group with, and together following a specific theme. Interested in group coaching but don’t have a group? Group coaching is also a great opportunity to meet some new people! Feel free to contact me to be connected.

Follow-up: Individual Follow-up meeting (1 Hour)

A one hour one-on-one follow-up conversation providing support as you to set realistic goals, develop a plan to keep you accountable, and celebrate your journey.

Example engagements

The frequency of coaching sessions can be customized. Some examples of group coaching engagements are (but not limited to):
  • Individuals in motion. This may be from high school to university, university to a career, or one job to another. Transitions aren’t easy. Knowing who you are, what you’re good at, what’s important to you, and what might stand in your way will be essential as you make your move.
  • Parents, interested in better supporting their children (of any age) as they discover what brings them joy and who they are meant to be. Parenting isn’t easy. Career Coaching will equip you to better understand your children as well as yourself, gaining insight to who they are now, and the person they are becoming.
  • Individuals feeling stuck, uncertain, or without direction. You may have lost your job suddenly or maybe stuck in the same job with no way out. You may be experiencing a sudden life change and aren’t sure where to go from here. Let’s find out who you are in this moment together and imagine something great together!
